Learn to lead trad

Day trip for those wanting to learn to lead trad. This will be to Morlais quarries

30^th January

First Dynamic Rock post Xmas

Official club trip to Dynamic Rock. Meet at 5:30pm outside Fulton House, cost: £7.50 (including transport).

26^th January

First Uni Wall Session post Xmas

Normally followed by JC's. Meet at 1900 at the wall. Cost: £1.50. This is the best event to come along to if you're not a member but are thinking about joining the club.

4^th January

Dynamic Rock (extra session)

Climbing at Dynamic Rock for only £5 (not including transport). This is not an official club trip so you will need to make your own way to the centre and organise any gear you may need to borrow. You must get to Dynamic Rock before 4pm to take advantage of this offer otherwise you will be charged full price.

8^th - 9^th December

South Wales Bouldering competition

Bouldering competition in Cardiff. Open to everyone of all abilities (except those on the north wales trip). See later for trip times + costing.

Weekend Trip

Weekend away to North Wales for some climbing in Snowdonia.

Day Trip

Day trip to Boiler slab on the gower. Trip cost is £5. Meet outside fulton house on Sunday at 8:30am

4^th - 6^th November

First Weekend Trip

First weekend away with the club. We will be heading to the Peak District for a whole weekend of climbing and socialising. This is a really popular trip and unfortunately there will be limited places so it will be first come first served. Cost: £30.

First Day Trip

First Day trip to the Gower. We will be going to Fall Bay where we will be climbing at King Wall and Devil's Truck. There will also be a long, adventurous abseil through Giant's Cave. This is a very popular trip and a great one to come along to if you want to get involved with the club! All equipment will be provided! Cost: £5.

Social - Film Night

An evening of watching some awesome climbing films. Meet in Fulton House Lecture Room 1 at 6pm. Nothing too formal, just turn up and chill out!

Taster Session at the Climbing Wall in the Sports Centre

Taster session at the Sports Centre Climbing Wall to see what we do! You do not need to be a member of the club to come to the taster session but you must be a member of the AU and there's no obligation to join the club! Meet at 7pm at the Sports Centre. You just need to pay £1.50 at the door to come into the Sports Centre but all equipment will be provided free of charge! Please wear tight fitting trainers and comfortable clothing. You'll find climbing in UGG boots or skate shoes pretty difficult!! Please see "Regular Events" above for more details.
